It is incredibly precise and patient as it takes us deeper into her world. Even though it did not win the Academy Award for Best Documentary this year, we will always cherish it.

We'll be honest with you: Boston Strangler isn't a great movie. However, anything in which Keira Knightley and Carrie Coon play a pair of investigative journalists investigating a serial killer is going to be worth watching just for them. It is a stylized historical thriller very similar to Zodiac, based on a true story, with a lot of grim violence and a gloomy tone. Even though the way it tells its story isn't as good as that, there is still a lot to like about it for people who want a more grounded look at the realities that go into true-crime stories.

Cocaine Bear

Release Date: Tuesday, March 14 on VOD

Do you recall Cocaine Bear? The movie that had only been released a few weeks earlier and was essentially a meme? Well, it is now available for you to watch at home on VOD as part of the ever-shrinking theatrical window. You can put that theory to the test and see if it has the same level of spectacle as the theater. A film that delivers on what you'll probably expect to see and then some, it basically reveals everything you need to know in its title. Will it alter the film industry? In no way, shape, or form. Will it become a 12 PM film? Perhaps, who knows? One thing is for sure: there is a bear who uses cocaine and kills many people. This one is for you if you enjoy that kind of thing

Official Competition is one of the best films that came out last year and is worth seeing because it is a satire that is funny and sharp at the same time. The great trio of Penélope Cruz, Antonio Banderas, and Oscar Martnez, whose strength and sincerity are integral to this. They play characters who are supposed to make a movie for a wealthy millionaire who wants it to be his legacy. Cruz will be playing the well-known director Lola Cuevas, who will be in charge of the two main men and actors in the movie. Banderas portrays the glamorous superstar Félix Rivero, whereas Martnez portrays Iván Torres, who is more grounded and humble. The three of them have very different and frequently conflicting ideas about how the movie should be made. The fewer details there are, the better, but suffice it to say that this one defies all expectations.

Rubikon
